In the recent visit of Facebook at the Department of Education, Education Secretary Briones experienced Virtual Reality with Oculus Go, the all-in-one virtual reality headset from Facebook.

The Facebook team that visited the Secretary include Singapore-based market develoment lead Ramesh Gopalkrishna and client partner lead Fasai Pongpitaksopon. Head of public policy Clare Amador and public policy manager Chris Kuzhuppilly represented Facebook Philippines.

The Facebook team visited DepEd to brief the secretary and her execom about Workplace by Facebook and how it is being used by governments, universities and colleges in education to connect and empower teachers and make them more effective. The team also showcased the Oculus Virtual Reality headset to Secretary Briones.

Oculus Go is a standalone virtual reality headset with over 1000 immersive apps and games. It allows one to simply slip on the headset and dive into great virtual reality education, entertainment and gaming experiences.
